VISION

To remain a leading organ for the pursuit of gender sensitivity and gender balanced reporting in Nigeria.

MISSION

To collaborate with media organs and interested corporate bodies in the country to achieve gender equity and balance through fair gender reporting-cum-portrayal, sensitization, mobilization, advocacy, research, education and training.

Objectives

To continuously monitor the extent of gender sensitivity by Nigerian Mass Media.

To inculcate deep understanding and appreciation of the principles of gender perspective reporting in Nigerian journalists and ensure they put same into practice when reporting gender related issues.
